Detroit Senate 4/34 Wurlitzer Theatre Organ - Paul playing the happy tune The Jolly Coppersmith on this awesome theatre organ. ( Der Kreuzfidele Kupferschmied, 1890 ) This song is sometimes heard on band organs and player pianos and is also a favorite of concert, brass, or military bands.     Was this done recently? Sounds like they fixed the Bass Drum head…sounded like it had a hole in it when I was there in March for the concert.

    I played it at a practice session on Sept. 21, 2008. Recorded with an Edirol R-09HR. I’m not sure about the drum, was just having a fun time with the Wurlitzer.

    Wow- I commented on “Pietro’s Return”… I didn’t even think to look at this or your other videos- dang… I could imagine what
    “Return” would sound like on the Senate Wurly… beautiful. Now I feel really stupid
    after the comment I left at “Return”- you are
    already quite an accomplished musician, and
    quite familiar with the theatre organ.

    I am humbled.
