Vertical Engine steals the show at Detroit’s 2011 International Jazz Fest (Part 1)

Jazz Megastars, VERTICAL ENGINE, show why have become the hottest international sensation to burst on the jazz scene. Hugely popular in their native Japan, VERTICAL ENGINE thrilled crowds from Center Stage at the 2011 Detroit International Jazz Fest. These private sets took place following their public appearance at the Detroit Musical Hall's historic Jazz Cafe. Eric Heard, son of the legendary jazz drummer JC Heard, is scheduling a return tour for the group in the near future.
